In this blog we will learbn how to integrate SharePoint in Unified Service Desk. Create Hosted Control of Standard Web Application for SharePoint. In CRM, navigate to Settings -> Hosted Controls and create new Hosted Controls
Display Name: SharePoint
USD Component Type: Standard Web Application
Hosting Type: IE Process
Application is Global: Yes
Display Group: MainPanel
Now create a Toolbar and add some Buttons on it and add it to the out-of-the box Main toolbar
Now in Main Toolbar go to drop-down menu at the top and select Hosted Controls and add existing Hosted Control to it by selecting Toolbar Container.
Create Toolbar button which will apear on the toolbar and clicking on it will do some action in our case will show SharePoint site.
Button Text: SharePoint
Create action call for the above button which will perform the action of displaying the SharePoint site.
Name: Call SharePoint (Any name)
Hosted Control: SharePoint (Hosted control created in the first step)
Data: url=(SharePoint site)
Now open Unified Service Desk client application and click on the SharePoint button in the toolbar at the top ash shown in the below screenshot
